The Knights of Assumption Council 3397 were very happy to conduct the First Annual 8th Grade Spelling Bee at Saint Michael’s The Archangel Regional School in Clayton, NJ on January 28.  The spelling bee was held in conjunction with Catholic Schools Week.

Third place: Kyree Myers

Ben won the event by correctly spelling the word “arsenal.” He will now move on to the diocesan round of the spelling bee.

Helping out at the event were Assumption Council’s Grand Knight Ray Iacovone, Chancellor Mike Walsh, Warden Al Duaime, member Doug Miedel, Saint Catherine of Siena Council #6890 Past Grand Knight John Walsh and Saint Bridget parishioner Ines Terway.
