Our Knights Help Kickoff Catholic School’s Week

January 25th was the official start of Catholic Schools week in the Camden Diocese and the Knights of Assumption Council 3397 were happy to do their part assisting with the kickoff Mass at the Parish of Saint Bridget for Saint Michael’s the Archangel Regional School.

The event was especially blessed to have the Bishop of Camden, Dennis Sullivan, as our main celebrant for the day. Our fellow Knights, Fr. Robert Sinatra and Deacon Kevin Heil concelebrated with the bishop, who is also a Knight. The Mass was highlighted by a number of delightful school elements and the Knights provided some solemnity with the inclusion of the Fourth Degree Color Guard.

After Mass, the Knights were happy to assist the Saint Michael’s parents and grandparents with hosting refreshments for the Bishop and Mass attendees.

Later this week, our Knights will also be conducting a Spelling Bee contest for 8th graders at St. Michael’s.
