The Knights of Assumption Council 3397 were pleased to join with members of Our Lady Queen of Peace Council 6247 marching in The Pitman Santa Parade on Saturday, November 29.
Our theme was “Keep Christ in Christmas,” which we happily displayed with banners leading and following our marching contingent. Our knights wished everyone along the parade route a Merry Christmas.
The parade route was packed with throngs of locals looking to enjoy the various marchers and of course the arrival of Santa Claus who closed out the festivities.
Many thanks to Lew DeEugenio and Summit City Winery for the use of their covered wagon, which served as our council’s float.
The knights spent the day before the parade doing a little decorating.

We made sure our “Keep Christ in Christmas” sign was easily seen.
